SALUDA GRADE TRAIL

SCLT is in support of the efforts of Conserving Carolina in North Carolina and PAL: Play, Advocate Live Well in South Carolina to create the Saluda Grade Trail. 

 

The goal of this project is to provide a 31.5-mile park along rail lines spanning from Inman, SC to Zirconia, NC. The trail will welcome walking, biking, hiking, jogging, wheelchairs, strollers and more. 

 

The idea is a new rail trail that travels from the rolling countryside of Upstate South Carolina, through historic and vibrant small towns, and into the mountain scenery of Western North Carolina.
