WALKS IN THE WOODS

Join us for a community-led hiking series held on Sundays throughout the month from mid-March to mid-November, weather permitting.

SCLT volunteers will guide you on local favorite walks around Saluda.

Each walk lasts about an hour and a half and highlights our area's natural treasures while encouraging outdoor activity.

Walkers should meet at the Saluda Library parking lot at 2 p.m. An SCLT member will guide you, providing information about the trail’s terrain, as well as insights into the area's history, flora, and fauna.

Wear comfortable shoes (water shoes if noted), bring a walking stick, water, and a snack. You’re welcome to bring field guides or a camera. Inform your guide of any relevant medical history. Some hikes may access private property with the owners' permission, which is normally off-limits to the public. Call ahead to see if dogs are allowed on the hike.

The work of Saluda Community Land Trust is made possible through the generous donations of our community partners, volunteers, and private donors. Donate today, so that we may continue to serve Saluda through connecting people, land, and community.
