OUR MISSION
Saluda Community Land Trust's mission is to preserve Saluda's rural and unique small town character by: Preserving undeveloped land in residential and commercial areas for public use, agriculture, or retention of natural characteristics; Providing trails and open space to connect people, land, and community; Encouraging community members of Saluda and surrounding areas to be responsible stewards of their land and natural resources.
CURRENT FUNDRAISING

Because of your support, Belleme is now permanently protected. Together, we raised $240,000—securing the land and funding the first phase of trails and improvements for community access.
We’ve put together this short thank-you video to share what this made possible.
Thank you for being part of this effort. If you’d like to stay involved, learn about upcoming projects, or help identify land worth protecting, we’d welcome the conversation.

As stewards of the land, we at Saluda Community Land Trust recognize and acknowledge that we are on the traditional territory of Cherokee, Catawba, and Yuchi Peoples who have been its caretakers for generations. We honor their enduring connection to this land and express gratitude for their contributions to our community. Additionally, we are committed to honoring and preserving the histories of all previous occupants of the lands we work to protect, including enslaved, incarcerated, and free communities of people of African descent.
